More than 50% of US companies want to invest in cyber insurance

According to a recent survey conducted by Ponemon Institute and Experian Data Breach Resolution, more than 76% of the enterprises experienced a significant security exploit or data breach during the past two years. As many as 638 U.S. organizations participated in this survey.

This article published by CIO.com captures all the key findings such as how more and more companies are looking at buying cyber insurance plans. For instance, of the total companies surveyed, there were about 31% who had already invested in cyber insurance but about 57% who did not have a policy expressed their intention to buy one.
